The tornado that made my daughter believe in science

She pressed a button and a 20-foot indoor tornado formed in front of her. She squealed and said I made a tornado. Now she wants to be a meteorologist.

My 7-year-old pressed the button at the tornado exhibit and watched a 20-foot vortex form from floor to ceiling. She reached out and touched it. She listened to the whole 10-minute explanation. That exhibit was worth the 4-hour drive from Ottawa.
