A Real Parent's Story

The T-Rex roared and my son took cover under a stegosaurus

He hid for five minutes then peeked out and asked if the T-Rex was gone.

The dinosaur hall is spectacular. Full skeletons, moving animatronics, and a T-Rex that roars on a timer. Our 4-year-old was fascinated at first but when the T-Rex roared he bolted under the nearest exhibit which happened to be a stegosaurus. He stayed there for five minutes peeking out occasionally to check if the T-Rex was coming. A kind security guard showed him the T-Rex was on a track and could not get off it. That convinced him.
