Tips & Tricks from Real Parents

1

The OCBC Skyway (walkway between Supertrees) closes at 8 PM. Do it BEFORE the light show, not after.

2

Bring a picnic blanket. The best spot for the light show is on the grass directly under the tallest Supertrees.

3

The Cloud Forest dome is freezing (18°C). Bring a jacket for kids — yes, in Singapore.

4

Avoid Saturday nights. The crowds are 3x larger and the magic diminishes.

5

The children's garden has a splash pad. Bring swimsuits and towels.

A Real Parent's Story

We almost missed the light show because of the splash pad

The children's garden splash pad is so good our kids refused to leave. We bribed them with ice cream to get to the Supertree show. Worth it — but plan an extra 30 minutes for the water play.

Gardens by the Bay is incredible but the Far East Organization Children's Garden is the secret weapon. A massive water play area with spraying arches, buckets that dump water, and a treehouse. It's free. Our kids spent 2 hours there. We had to drag them away for the light show.
