A Real Parent's Story

The Goat That Would Not Leave My Daughter

A persistent goat followed my 4-year-old around the petting zoo for 15 minutes hoping for more feed pellets.

The petting zoo is chaos in the best way. My daughter bought feed pellets for 5 RMB and became the most popular kid in the pen. A brown goat with a crooked ear followed her everywhere. She was delighted and terrified. The larger animal enclosures need updates but the kid areas are well done. For 40 RMB per adult, it is one of the cheapest family days out in Shanghai.
