Tips & Tricks from Real Parents
Buy the Express Pass — it's expensive ($50-80 extra) but you WILL need it. Regular waits hit 120+ minutes on busy days.
Enter Super Nintendo World FIRST. The timed entry tickets run out by 10 AM on busy days.
The power-up band ($30) is worth it for Super Nintendo World — kids love collecting digital coins and keys.
Single rider lines cut wait times by 50-80%. If your kid is tall enough (122cm+), use them.
Eat at 'Three Broomsticks' in Harry Potter World — the butterbeer and fish & chips are actually good.
Bring a portable charger. The USJ app drains your battery with ride wait times and park maps.

A Real Parent's Story
My son cried when we entered Nintendo World — happy tears
“The moment the warp pipe slide opened and Mario music blared, my 7-year-old burst into tears. 'This is the best day of my life,' he whispered. Mine too, buddy. Mine too.”

Universal Studios Japan is on another level from the American parks. Super Nintendo World is a masterpiece — you walk INTO a video game. The Mario Kart ride uses AR goggles that make you feel like you're racing through the track. The attention to detail is insane (coin blocks that go 'bling' when you punch them). Our 9-year-old wore her power-up band for the entire day and slept with it on.
