Tips & Tricks from Real Parents

1

Head straight to the 'Science of Motion' wing on the ground floor — it’s the most interactive and least crowded before 11 AM.

2

The 3D film shows have specific timings (11 AM, 1 PM, 3 PM). Book your slot right when you arrive or they sell out.

3

Don’t skip the outdoor gallery. The giant kaleidoscope and the pulley-chair exhibit are in the back garden and 80% of visitors miss them.

4

Bring a change of clothes for the water-play exhibits near the back. Kids WILL get wet and happy.

5

The cafeteria food is mediocre. Pack lunches and eat on the shaded benches outside the main hall — way better value.

A Real Parent's Story

She built a working circuit and screamed with joy

My 7-year-old daughter spent 45 minutes at the electricity exhibit. She connected wires, flipped switches, and when the light bulb finally lit up, she screamed like she’d discovered fire. That’s when I knew this was worth every rupee.

We almost went to a mall instead because it was raining. Thank goodness we chose the Science Centre. My daughter is usually glued to her iPad, but here she was building circuits, testing aerodynamics, and asking questions I couldn’t answer. We stayed 4 hours and she didn’t ask for her tablet once. The ticket cost less than a movie and we got ten times the value.
