Scienceworks is a sleeper hit. I expected a dusty museum. What we got was a gleaming, modern science centre that rivals anything in London or Tokyo. The earthquake simulator genuinely shook us (magnitude 6.2 feels REAL), the planetarium show about black holes made my head spin. The Think Ahead climate exhibit made my daughter ask thoughtful questions all evening. We went back twice more during our week in Melbourne. Best thing we did.
