A Real Parent's Story

Flamingos walked past our picnic blanket

We sat down for a snack and a peacock joined us. My toddler thought she'd entered a fairy tale.

KL Bird Park was the highlight of our Kuala Lumpur trip. The free-flight concept is incredible - birds just wander around you. Flamingos waded in their pond while my daughter watched from inches away. The hornbill section was noisy and wonderful, and the feeding area where parrots land on your arm was pure joy. The bird show was genuinely entertaining with macaws doing tricks and a hornbill doing a fly-over. The cafe is basic but the milkshake saved us from the heat.
