Tips & Tricks from Real Parents
Buy the 'Super Pass' online in advance - it's 40% cheaper than the gate price and includes all 6 parks. The walk-up queue is brutal on weekends.
Arrive at 10am and head straight to the Nickelodeon Lost Lagoon. It's the newest zone and gets packed by noon.
Bring water shoes. The ground gets scorching hot by 11am and barefoot walking between pools is painful.
The Wildlife Park is surprisingly good - they have white tigers, a petting zoo, and bird shows. Don't skip it for the water park alone.
Food inside is overpriced (RM 25-35 for a meal). You can get a wristband for re-entry to eat at Sunway Pyramid mall next door.

A Real Parent's Story
We surfed a wave in the middle of Kuala Lumpur
“The flow rider surf simulator looked impossible. But my 8-year-old watched a pro for 10 minutes, tried it, and stood up for 3 seconds. She screamed so loud the lifeguard high-fived her. Two hours later, she was bodyboarding like a local. Best park in SE Asia, hands down.”

Sunway Lagoon is huge - we didn't see all 6 parks in one day. The water park is the main draw but the Amusement Park has a great wooden roller coaster and the Nickelodeon area is pure joy for younger kids. We went on a Tuesday and barely queued. The SpongeBob splash pad kept my 4-year-old occupied for 90 minutes straight.
