The sea lion show is at 11am and 3pm — arrive 20 minutes early for a front-row seat. The front rows get splash warnings!
The underwater tunnel is busiest right after opening. Go through the bird park first, then hit the tunnel at 10:45am when tour groups are filtering in.
Skip the overpriced combo meal at the in-house restaurant. Walk 5 minutes to the nearby food court for better options at half the price.
The touch pool experience (rays and small sharks) closes 30 minutes before the main park. Do it mid-visit, not at the end.
The penguin exhibit has specific feeding times (10:30am and 2pm). Penguins are most active then — otherwise they just stand there.

Cebu Ocean Park isn't the biggest aquarium I've seen, but it's perfectly sized for a fun half-day. The sea lion show had both of us laughing, and the bird park section was a surprise hit — our daughter loved feeding the lorikeets (PHP 100 per cup of nectar, get two cups). AC makes it a perfect escape from Cebu heat.
