Wear bright colors - pink, yellow, and orange attract butterflies. They'll land on you within minutes. White also works well.
The guided tour lasts about 30 minutes and is worth it. You'll see the chrysalis room where hundreds of butterflies are hatching, and the guide knows exactly which species land the most.
Don't wear strong perfume or sunscreen with heavy fragrance. Butterflies have scent receptors on their antennae and strong smells can confuse or repel them.
Bring a camera with macro mode. The butterflies are incredibly photogenic but small - phone cameras without zoom miss the detail.
